phvdrivers.com is owned and operated by Mobility Exchange Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 16766811. Our registered office is at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
Mobility Exchange Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through phvdrivers.com.

2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal data when you use phvdrivers.com.
Most of this site is a public reference. You can read every council page without giving us anything. We only collect personal data when you choose to join.
3. What data we collect
3.1 When you join
When you join the club we collect:
- your email address
- your postcode district (for example WD18, not your full postcode)
- your licence type, one of: PHV, Hackney carriage, Dual, Applying now, Thinking about it
- the licensing authority you selected, where you joined through a page for a specific council
- which page you joined from
If you tell us you hold a licence we also ask for your name, badge number and licensing authority. These are optional.
We do not ask for your full address, your date of birth, your National Insurance number, your bank details, or any document.
3.2 Technical data
Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this site, processes standard technical data including your IP address and browser information for security and performance.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the following lawful bases:
- Consent: to send you the phvdrivers briefing and member deals by email. You give this consent when you join and you can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests: to maintain security, prevent misuse and improve the site.
- Legal obligation: where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
5. How we use your data
We use your data to:
- send you the phvdrivers briefing and offers relevant to licensed drivers
- tell you when something changes in your licensing area
- understand where our members are and which councils they hold licences with
- maintain site security and prevent misuse
We do not sell your data. We do not pass your details to an operator or any other company for them to market to you.
6. Cookies
phvdrivers.com sets no analytics, marketing or tracking cookies.
Cloudflare sets one strictly necessary cookie, __cf_bm, for bot management and security. No consent banner is required under UK PECR for strictly necessary cookies.
7. Service providers
We use the following third parties to run this site. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf under appropriate contractual safeguards.
- Cloudflare for hosting, DNS and security (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy)
- MailerLite for storing our member list and sending email (mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy)
We do not permit these providers to use your data for any purpose other than delivering this service.
8. Sharing your data
Beyond the providers listed above, we may share your data:
- where required by law, including by a court, regulator or law enforcement authority
- to protect the rights, property or safety of Mobility Exchange Ltd, our members or others
- in connection with a sale or merger of Mobility Exchange Ltd, in which case you will be notified
9. International data transfers
Some of our providers operate infrastructure outside the UK. Where data is transferred outside the UK we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including data processing agreements and, where required, International Data Transfer Agreements or equivalent.
10. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as you remain a member.
If you unsubscribe we remove you from our mailing list. We keep a record of your email address so that we do not contact you again by mistake.
If you ask us to delete your data we will do so within one month.
11. Your rights
As a data subject under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that is wrong
- ask us to delete your data
- object to or restrict processing
- data portability, where technically feasible
- withdraw your consent to marketing at any time
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. That is the fastest way to stop hearing from us.
To exercise any other right, contact us at team@phvdrivers.com. Subject Access Requests are free unless manifestly unfounded or excessive.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/concerns.
12. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. This site uses HTTPS throughout.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published at phvdrivers.com/privacy. We will tell you by email about any material change.
